Hi everyone – today I am sharing this double page layout created using the gorgeous Wandering Ivy Collection. For the tutorial portion I am sharing how I created some interest on my background as well as using my die-cuts in a cheat way to add color instantly without worrying to tear or damage the fine delicate cuts made. Lets take a look how I created my elements… On my background I created some layered filled in circles with hand sewn details around the edges. So quick and easy to achieve but with a stunning end result. For my flower cluster I wanted to use the beautiful Ivy die-cut. But the part I hate most about die-cuts is adding color to them once they are cut. Especially with those delicate pieces that tear and break so easily So here’s my cheat way of adding color and cutting them without any fuss. Step 1 – Turn the die-cut over and ink the flat side (back) of your die using 2 or more shades of green ink. Lightly tap the ink onto the surface to ink it.
